Austin Paz :: Eulogy Wheels Pro Rider

Here’s a quick look into the mind of Eulogy Wheels and Crap Bearings Pro team rider, Austin Paz.

What made you decide to ride for Eulogy Wheels?
I was a broke lil kid at the time who was scrounging up old wheels to ride on from my boys, so how could a wheel sponsor go wrong? Glad it was Eulogy though.

After all the exposure and having your pick of wheel companies to endorse, what made you stick with Eulogy?
I’d rather ride for a company whose product I support and actually like. I see people who ride for companies whose products aren’t up to par, and the skaters are miserable. I’d rather have to change my wheels every few months than every few days

So you prefer quality, how are the Crap Bearings compared to the wheels, up to par?
The crap bearings are equally up to par with the wheels I’d say. They don’t squeak in the rain or snow and they’re smooth as ice. I’ve skated through dirt and mud and still left sessions with my wheels spinning.

You’re getting a new Pro wheel this Spring, can you tell us anything about it?
I’d say it’s a pretty perfect street wheel. im proud of it….57mm/89a

How does it feel to be on a team of legends like Eric Schrijn, Robert Lievanos, and Gonzo Jaquez?
It was mad sick seeing my ad in be-mag where I had pics next to all them, knowing I was respected by some legendary OG skaters that I grew up watching since back when I started. Made me feel good, that I was on the right path.

Who are some of your other sponsors?
Valo, B.unique, Able the best of the best id say

Any last shot outs?
Thanks to all my sponsors for the look out and putting the best skate setup on my feet and illest clothe on my back. NYC pizza is the best thing ever. No thanks to the guy who put pepperoni on your Hawaiian pizza Isaac, that wouldn’t happen in NY, and if you want a quality wheel to ride on that wont chunk or de-core on you, cop a eulogy wheel. Preferably mine.
