We finally got in the long awaiting Brandon Smith Pro Valo Light Boot. These skates came stock looking pretty amazing, but we decided to make a custom and shoot a bunch of extra photos. Enjoy.
- First step in making this custom was black soul plates, this skate came stock with a tan/khaki soul, but to match all the other black accents on these blades we went with some Valo 2 Piece Soul Plates in Black.
- Next the frames, since i was planning on going with a flat rocker setup for this custom, i went with a large size Create Originals Bolino Frames, i went with the large to increase the split and give you some more room to grind, it doesn’t look to bad on the 8-9 shell either. Also tossed in the 2011 Broskow Inserts.
- Wheels, the new Eulogy 2012 Erik Bailey 57/90 Wheels, these pretty much match this custom perfectly, and the new Eulogy compound is top notch, increase in durability and grip.
- Da Bearings, i went with my personal choice of bearing, the King Crow Precision Bearings, a perfect mid priced bearing, that will still keep you rolling smooth.
