Fifty-fifty Rachard Johnson Core System Frames

When I think of Fifty fifty frames, the first thing that comes to my mind is classic. It seems like they have been around forever. Fifty fifty has provided us with reliable frames and amazing designs for years.

With so many new frames hitting the market lately, one set of frames really stands out to me– that is the new gray Fifty fifty Rachard Johnson core system frames. I have personally been waiting for fifty fifty to release a freestyle frame for a while.

The reason is that I love to skate freestyle, it makes my grinds so much easier, and helps for balance on rails. Kizer and Xsjado make really nice freestyle frames as well, however I have always wanted to have the fifty fifty name on a freestyle frame.

The frames have a lightweight aluminum core that makes them really strong and durable. Another huge reason why these frames are so sick is because they allow you to save money! With the core system, you only have to buy the core one time. When the outer frame walls wear down and get old, you can just buy new frame walls. You don’t have to buy a whole new frame!

Groove Detail

Since the frames are now available in gray, I decided to get a pair. So I threw them on my Salomon Rob Thompson skates and put my M1 urethane Franky Morales 2 wheels on, and headed to this ledge across the street from my house. I love skating ledges when I have new skates or frames, because I can get them grooved just how I want. After lacing some grinds I realized that they slide just as fast as you would expect a fifty fifty frame to slide. Also, the gray color made my skates look really nice. When I would grind the ledge I could feel how sturdy the cores were. The pre-groove was a really nice shape for ledges and rails.

They come with aluminum frame spacers and really nice 8mm axles, which made them even more reliable for grinds and the impact of gaps. Over all these are great frames for any skater of any skill level. If you have been thinking about trying some freestyle frames, but haven’t been too sure about it, these Fifty Fifty Core Frames will make you change your mind.
