One of the most highly anticipated rollerblading videos of this winter has been the Heat Team video. I definitely have been anxious to see this video ever since I saw who was going to be in the video. With sections from Erik Bailey, James St Ours, Oli Short, Jeff Stockwell, Micha Yeager, Tory Treseder, and Sayer Danforth, and with the whole video being edited by Carl Sturgess, I knew that it was going to live up to all of it’s expectations. As soon as Roller Warehouse got the video in stock, I immediately got myself a copy and took it home to enjoy.

Carl Sturgess is known for his other sick videos such a Demode, Film, and Killer Boots, the Heat Team Video is definitely no exception. The filming in the video was awesome. Every section in the video had some sick music and dope editing. The three sections that stood out to me the most were James St Ours, Erik Bailey, and Jeff Stockwell. Bailey laced some huge hammers and some sick technical tricks to really make his section a great all-around section. Also, James St Ours landed some huge kinked rails, laced some gnarly fishbrains, and tried THE BIGGIEST 540s that I have ever seen. And then Stockwell, there’s not much to say but some smooth style and some huge tricks, you definitely have to see this profile for yourself to really understand how sick it is. The video also featured some “up close and personal” shots of all the skaters before each one of their sections. There were also a couple great montages to really bring the whole video together.

The Heat Team Video definitely lived up to all the expectation and anticipation that was built around it. I would definitely suggest this video to anyone who like to see some great sections with some smooth tricks, big hammers, and great up a close shots of all your favorite pro riders.
