Mike Martinho is the Nor-Cal Golden Child. He has had sections in many videos such as Against the One Way, Sacrafice, Not Another Skate Video. His newest sections are in WE ARE VALO. Mike currently rides for Roller Warehouse and Valo-Brand.

Q. When are we going to see another Mike Martinho section?

A: I am not to sure….I know that were starting to film for the new valo video, but other than that not sure. Still recovering from my last injury.

Q. Why do you change your clothes ever time your done skating a spot, even when you know you are not done skating?

A: Well….haha I usually do not change after each spot I think its a bit exaggerated most of the time. I change into different clothing though, so that I dont destroy the clothes I wear outside of rollerblading.

Q. What’s you favorite Rocky Movie?

A: Favorite rocky movie?….well I would say rocky. Do you mean Silvester Stalone movie(cause everyone thinks I look like him for some reason)? umm haven’t seen any in sometime now, but the one that comes to mind is the Rocky VS Mr. T.

Q. How long have you riding Valo’s?

A: About 2 years now…I think i’m right it’s been a while and I lost track. It has been a good while, VERY ENJOYABLE!!!!

Q. What keeps you rolling?

A: Several things keep me rolling for one it keeps me sane, I enjoy to the point i’m at when I can influence another fellow rollerblader younger than me or even older just juices me, Also just being able to hang out with friends and mess around, not always taking things serious.

Q. Favorite Bladers?

A: Today there are soo many rollerbladers that I enojoy watching skate, Growing up my favorite skaters were Randy Spizer, Aaron Feinberg, Arlo Eisenberg, Matt Andrews. If I list the ones today I would be here all night. Chris Farmer, Chris Haffey, Ranier,Chris Chesire, Damien Wilson, Iain Mcleod, Justin mcloud, Mike Choley, Smith Ho Ching, Cossimo, Dominic Sagona, Kelso’s, Abdiel Coldberg, Ryan Northway, Casey Baggozi, Sapata Fofana’Dura, Ross Kuhn, Billy O’Niel, Joey Ihara, Victor Arias, Ivan Narez, Vinny Minton, Andy Johnson, Adam Radmand, Adam markison, Dustin Dixon, Matt Yee, Sean keane, Alex Broskow, Brandon Mateer…DUDE THE LIST GOES ON I COULD SIT HERE ALL DAY BUT I CAN’T!.

A: I don’t have a favorite, but Waking life, A walk to remember, What The Bleep Do we KNow, Dragon, Bebe’s kids…..Goes on.
