Remz 0703 Team Skate
We’re back again for another RWCustom for all you guys (and girls) to check out. Ben from Pennsylvania has come through with the dope custom skate this time around. Ben has setup a skate with super sick parts and an extra fresh look to it. He started it off with the Remedyz 07 Three Team Skates and the default Remz liner that comes with it. Then he threw on the Able Flat Evolution Frames in black/white, the Mindgame O’Neil Edition 2 wheels, Mindgame Higgs Boson 2 Anti-rockers, and some Generic ABEC 7 Bearings to keep him rolling super fast. All in all, Ben has put together a setup that will keep him skating good and lookin clean at the same time.
Before the building process
When doing Custom Skate Builders with Remz Skates, we recommend that you stick with the stock Remz Liner that comes in the skate. Remz liners are specifically made to fit inside of the Remz shell, so putting a different liner inside the boot isn’t always the best idea… it could work, but may not be the best choice. Remz made the best move and stuck with stock Remz Liner; it’s comfortable, durable, and works the best with the skate. On the bottom of the skate, Ben has tossed on the Able Flat Evolution Frames in black with a white h-block. It’s a perfect frame for these skate… the pre-groove lines up with the backslide plate, the black/white color scheme perfectly matches the skate, and there’s no need for “break in” time because it comes ready to go right out of the box. This is a great frame for anyone who likes riding flat rocker or anti-rocker.
Edward is RW’s #1 Builder
For the foundation of the skate, Ben has decided to go with a full on Mindgame setup. For the outside wheels, he’s opted to go with the Mindgame O’Neil ED 2 55/89 Wheels. Mindgame has always made quality wheels, and with a 55/89, Ben is getting a good medium sized wheel and a medium gauged hardness… so his wheels aren’t gonna wear down too fast but he’s still going to have soft landings. For the anti-rockers, Ben put on the Mindgame Higgs Boson 2 anti-rockers. These antis come at a 101 hardness, so they’ll slide across pretty much anything. And they also have 7 different angles on them so you get super smooth and balanced grind on ledges, while also keeping you locked in on rails. A full Mindgame setup is never a bad way to go. Inside the wheels, Ben put in some Generic ABEC 7 Bearings, it’s the cheapest way to be rolling fast. You can’t go wrong with ABEC 7 bearings.
Ballin!
Ben from Pennsylvania has put together one of the sickest setups that I’ve seen in a long time. With Remedyz, you get the ultimate performance and comfort. With Able frames, you get durability, quick sliding material, and a balanced ride. With Mindgame wheels, you get a smooth ride with the amazing grip and some of the best anti-rockers in the buisness. And on top of all that, all the colors match up to perfection.
