Brand new Six Won Six Razors SL Plates in the house! These are for Razor SL (Dre 2, Horn, Aragon 4, Icon 2, Aragon 3) Style skates. This part would go in place of the Razors Slider Grindplates. They are sold in a SET, so enough for your right and left skate. These are machined out of a solid block of UHMW (Ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene), i explain in depth what UHMW is below. but pretty much UHMW is the hardest, longest lasting plastic out there, these souls will last you at least twice as long as your regular Razors Slider Grindplates. What is UHMW?
“Ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene or sometimes shortened to UHMW, is a subset of the thermoplastic polyethylene. It has extremely long chains, with molecular weight numbering in the millions, usually between 2 and 6 million. The longer chain serves to transfer load more effectively to the polymer backbone by strengthening intermolecular interactions. This results in a very tough material, with the highest impact strength of any thermoplastic presently made. It is highly resistant to corrosive chemicals with exception of oxidizing acids; has extremely low moisture absorption and a very low coefficient of friction; is self-lubricating; and is highly resistant to abrasion, in some forms being 15 times more resistant to abrasion than carbon steel. Its coefficient of friction is significantly lower than that of nylon and acetal, and is comparable to that of polytetrafluoroethylene (Teflon), but UHMW has better abrasion resistance than PTFE (Teflon), It is odorless, tasteless, and nontoxic.”

Check out the picture below: You’ll notice that there are concave dimples spread across the soul, what these do is they reduce the amount of surface area touching while grinding. So what ends up happening is it helps you slide faster, and also wax will build up in these concave dimples, increasing your grind speed.
