USD VII 2017 Skates

The VII is a very good skate for beginners and pros alike, as it possesses all the features of the expensive “big brothers” – comfortable liner, all wearing parts are replaceable and low weight. From the skateparks to the streets, this skate is ready to shred everything in sight.

The combination of the cuff and shell provides the optimum balance of support and flexibility, which can be regulated with the buckle on the cuff itself. The VII is an affordable, comfortable and reliable hardboot skate that is gaining popularity year after year and good proof of this is the fact that world champion Roman Abrate chose the VII for his first upcoming USD pro skate.

For 2017 USD is relaunching the VII skate with a reworked soulplate, more solid and supportive than before. The new soulplate is a new version of the highly popular carbon souplate with a new groove. It’s not reason many people use this soul plate on all sorts of other skates, it’s simply one of the best.

Frames: Kizer Fluid IV Frames
Wheel’s: 57mm 89A USD Team Wheels & 43mm Anti’s
Bearings: WCD ABEC5 Bearings
Liners: My Fit Dual Fit Liner (Heat moldable)

The Frames: Kizer Fluid 4 Frame

These skates come with some Kizer Fluid 4 frames, which go perfectly with this rugged skate. The Kizer Fluid 4 frame has been around for quite sometime and is a favorite frame amongst many skaters worldwide. Super solid construction and nice wide groove for grinds makes this one of the best frames for street and park skating. These frames slide real nice on almost any grinding surface.

The Soul Plates: USD VII Soul plates

USD VII soul plates are some of the best on the market. A lot of skaters even put these on their Carbons and non-usd skates. Their super thick while maintaining a low profile. Very tough rugged construction make these great for all grinds and especially nice for torques and backslide tricks. Roller Warehouse carries the VII souls in a bunch of different colors and we can swap them out on your skate for free, just give us a call.

These skate now have added hardware along the soul plate to make it an even more secure fit to the boot. These additional bolts make this solid skate feel like their built like a tank but still retain their light weight. Great improvement to this skate.

With a new improved USD liner and the USD VII soul kit, these skate amazing! Both Backslides and torque slides feel super controlled thanks to the placement and material of the groove.  Lightweight the solid shell and cuff has great support on the ankle and all around the foot. Great skates at a great price.

The Wheels: 57mm 89A USD Team Wheels w/ WCD ABEC5 Bearings & 43mm Anti’s

57mm wheels is a great size for street skating. It’s a nice in between size so you can figure out if you’d like to go bigger, smaller, or ride flat. 89a hardness gives you a good amount of grip while the 43mm Antirockers in the middle still let you slide good on grinds. The Wicked Abed 5 bearings will have you rolling fast and smooth.

The Liner: Powerslide Myfit Fatboy

Fatboy liners have gained in popularity over the last few years. Their one of the best liners out right now. Mainly because their comfy right form the start and have heat moldable padding that shape nicely to your feet. Neoprene in the toes allows for the dual fit stretching and won’t leave your toes feeling all bunched up. Amazing liners for any style of skating.
