Valo TV Thee Strange Boot $199.00

“Thee Strange” is a crew consisting of Amir Amadi, Matt Langel, Keith Brierley, Dean Coward, Adam Brierley,  Dylan Davis, Matt Luda, Brandon Smith, and Alex Broskow.
Along with their “Thee Strange Voodoo Show” DVD, they’ve dropped a bunch of amazing content repping the Valo Brand. Julio and the boys collaborated on the design of this skate to bring a little strange to your blade scene.

Sizing:
These skates do run very true to size length wise. But are a little bit narrow width wise. So if you have a wider foot, best idea is to size up a half to full size. Any questions, feel free to call us 1-800-772-2502

Shell Sizing:
6-7, 8-9, 10, 11-12, 13-15

The Frames: Valo VTF Frames
More people should be skating Valo VTF Frames. We always get Custom Skates coming through and people swap out these frames for something else. I feel like people have a misconception that a “Stock” frame is bad, well this specific frame is an exception. I’ve personally been riding these frames for the past couple months. I ride them for a few reasons: Metal Frame Spacers, in my opinion all frames need this. Built in plastic frame spacers start to mushroom over after time and restrict your bearings from spinning as fast as they could. Aluminum Frame Spacers give you that solid connection between the Frame Spacers and the Bearings giving you the best possible free spin. Most people are not aware of thia. Second, Thick Side Walls: the walls on these frames are over a 1/4 inch thick. Believe me when i say it, these frame last, and longer than most other frames. Bottom line, these are great frame, add some Anti-Rockers and your good to go.
The Liners: Valo TV Thee Strange Liner
These liners have improved stitching compared to the old models, heel cup is wider and now made of a more durable fabric material. Neoprene toe will reduce pressure on your toes and form to your foot. These are pretty much the ideal liner for Valos, not super thick, not super thin, the perfect amount of padding for these skates.
The Soulplates: Valo 2 Piece Black Soul Plates
These are Valo’s New 2 Piece Soul Plates first introduced a few years ago. They went with a 2 piece system this time, which enabled them to increased the thickness of the soulplate, increasing durability. They are now a two piece system, so you can swap them out to give your skate a cool custom look. These are made out of Polyamide Nylon with infused Glass Fiber to increase grinding speed and strength. Hands down some of the longest lasting souls on the market. Most of the time the soulplates last just about as long as the skates. Beefy design to hold up to tough street skating.

The Buckles:
Valo Memory Buckles
One of my favorite features of Valo’s is their Memory Buckles. They adjust and clasp into place in the same position every time. So there’s no need to fiddle with your buckle to get it to your perfect fit. The buckle stays in the same position the entire time, locks into the metal clasp and your good to go. Makes taking your skates on and off a lot easier and quicker.
The Wheels: Generic Valo 58mm 88a Wheels
58mm is the ideal size for an Anti-rocker setup, although you can go all the way up to 61mm size on these frames. 88a hardness is going to provide unmatched grip on all surfaces. Good wheels, better than most Stock (Generic) Wheels.

The Anti’s: Valo 42mm 101a Anti-Rockers + Bearings
A solid set of Anti-Rockers to go with a solid set of blades. 42mm size is about the standard for an Anti. 101a is hard enough so you won’t stick up on your tricks on coping or ledges. They come ready to roll with Abec 1, so they will spin if your bashing down some stairs or trying to lock a groove trick. One of my personal favorite’s.
The Bearings: Generic Abec 5′s
Your pretty basic Generic Abec 5′s. This is pretty much the standard thing all skates come setup with right out of the box. Now they’re not going to be super fast, but the dual metal shields will help keep dirt and gunk out, while helping keep lubrication in. Keep in mind these bearings are not serviceable (cleanable).
