For those of you that are unfamiliar with a USD Carbon Skate, let me explain: These skates have an internal Carbon fiber shell, which you can see in the heel area. The outer skin and inner lining are all one piece with the Carbon shell fused together to make one solid skate. This makes the skate feel more responsive and natural. Add that with these being the lightest skates on the market make this a very desirable skate and one of our best sellers.
Pictured above is the USD Carbon Soul Plates that come on all USD Carbon Free or Carbon Skates. These soulplates offer a slim-lined profile with anatomical backslide. These are poured from a very hard plastic, provided much needed durability. If your wanting something a little more beefy check out the USD VII Soul Plates, those work as well on this skate. Those and the USD Carbon Soul Plates souls are available in a wide variety of different colors. Cuffs: The inner Carbon Fiber shell doesn’t go all the way to the top of the skate, it stops before the ball of your ankle. So having this cuff on is a must for that much needed support. Beefy v-cut in the back to match the shape of the boot to provide optimum flex while keeping substantial support. Slits in the cuff help with this as well.
The Liner: These skates features a built in/non-removable liner, this will increase the responsiveness of your skate, since the actual shell and the liner are one.
Velcro Straps: Now the function of this part is to help keep your foot locked into place. When you tighten these up it will reduce the height of the boot putting pressure on the top of your foot increasing responsiveness and fit. These straps are adjustable so you can fine tune them to your exact wants. And it helps keep your heel locked into place, while reducing heel lift.
