Razors Quinn Pro SL SkatesShort in stature, but long in accomplishments, Scott Quinn, the soon-to-be Scottish legend, is proud to introduce his brand new pro SL boot from Razors.  The Quinny Pro is a design based two of Scott’s favorite shoes infused together along with the trusted SL mold. The stylish new upper sits atop a set of trusted Ground Control FLT3 frames complete with a 64mm wheel, adding to speed while grinding and on the roll.

An avid street skater, Quinny has to fill a lot of time during the long Scottish winters, allowing plenty of indoor skatepark sessions to keep the mind and body fit. While working and skating at Unit 23 last winter, Scott got creative with some power tools and found he could squeeze the 64mm in without weakening the boot. Since then he has been glued to rolling with larger wheels and doesn’t plan on changing anytime soon.

The Frames: Ground Control Featherlite 3 Frames

The Ground Control Featherlite 3 frames are some of the best frames out right now. Several new upgrades to these frames have made them even better. New metal frame spacers makes it so you have a solid connection between your bearing and frame. This reduces friction, while giving enough space to let your wheel roll freely without letting your bearing rub against the inner sidewall of the frame. New plastic formula in these frames makes them slide faster then ever, and feel even more solid than the last generation.

These frames have a recessed frame wall, and what that does is when your grinding it reduces your surface friction, making you slide faster when grinding. Beveled edges on the bottom for better cess slides. Coming setup with 42mm anti-rockers right out of the box.

The Wheels & Bearings: Ground Control 64mm Wheels w/ Abec 9 Bearings

One of the first aggressive skates in a long time to come out with wheels larger than 60mm. These 64mm Ground Control wheels will have you rolling smoother and faster than usual. They come with Abec 9 rated bearings, that will be strong enough to hold up to those big drops and still roll fast.

The Soulplates & Backslides: Slider Backslide Plates & Slider Grindplates & Slider Soulframes

These are the soulplates for Razors SL style skates. The SL shell features a baseless design, and the Slider Soulframes act as the bottom of the shell along with the Slider Backslide PlatesSlider Grindplates. What this does is give you a closer to the foot feel when your grinding. Pretty much the distance between your foot and what your grinding has been greatly reduced, this results in a more natural grind and increased responsiveness. All of these parts are replaceable and are available in a variety of different colors.

The new Razors Scott Quinn Pro SL skates are probably my favorite Razors skates to come out in a long time. Their a great looking skate that also manage to be light and durable. The perfect setup for any type of skating you throw at them. Get yourself a pair because these might not be around for long.

The Liners: Razors SL-2 Liners Razors liners have always been known for being comfy right out the box with a ton of padding. Razors recently made their liners even better with a few changes. A new more anatomical articulated tongue adds even more comfort and forms to your ankle much better. They’ve removed the inner lacing to make the liner less bulky but kept the elastic ankle strap to keep the tongue tight to your foot. Neoprene toe and heel panels help to alleviate pressure points and let these liners stretch and form to your feet.
