Roller Warehouse Welcomes Standard Skate Co.

Written by Roller Warehouse

Roller Warehouse is adding Standard Skate Co. to its catalog! Founded by Stefan Brandow, Brian Weis, and Yandriel Silverio; their skates are designed with the skater in mind. Their skates are crafted to be well-supported with a classic design and customizable to every skater’s preference. These “grinding machines” are specifically made for doing grinds, airs, spins, gaps, etc., and will be great options for doing tricks, whether you’re a beginner or an advanced skater.

Complete SkateThe Omni

Their debut skate is the Omni, inspired by all the greatest skates but purpose-built for where skating is today. Utilizing eight new molds and dozens of unique parts, the Omni is a complete skate that’s distinct yet familiar. Available in antirocker and flat setup.

Highlights

  • Completely new skate using eight new molds
  • Flat heel boot design with internal shock absorber
  • Premium heat moldable liner with elastic lacing
  • Meticulously designed soul plate with m6 mounting
  • All purpose frame with antirocker wheels included
  • Aftermarket quality 58mm wheels with ABEC-9 bearings

Boots

Standard believes that comfort in a boot is a number one priority; that’s why they set out to make a boot that works for the wide range of skaters. The flat heel boot design with internal shock absorbers allows for a smooth landing.

Shell

The plastic shell has been purposefully designed with extra room in the toe box and heel to allow for a roomier fit. Features a locking cuff buckle for a secure fit.

Liner

Inside the shell, their Comfort liner incorporates a plush, heat moldable cuff along with a neoprene toe. This provides a luxurious fit across any of our four shell sizes.

Frame

Built to be all-purpose, these frames come with antirocker wheels, the frames are removable if the skater prefers to use their own.

Soul Plate

The Omni provides a generous soul on both sides allowing skaters at all levels the confidence to lock on souls and negatives. They managed to maintain a sleek, compact aesthetic by flowing along the contour of the boot. The bottom edge is then angled up from the outside to meet the frame giving every grind a little extra juice. For groove tricks, there’s a flat side with a subtle pocket to lock consistently on any object. Designed by skaters who know how grinds should feel.
